The mission of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is to educate and form Franciscan servant leaders of all faiths.
We honor and preserve the legacy of our founders by preparing highly skilled professionals, integrated thinkers, and faith-filled citizens.
Inspired by the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady to be a living witness to Jesus Christ and the Gospel message, the University is in communion with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
The St. Francis Annual Fund supports recognized areas of greatest need at Franciscan.
Friends of the University giving support to the St. Francis Annual Fund are making a decision that will have wide-ranging impact: their gift will be allocated to those areas that will have the greatest effect on the long-term success of the institution.
Currently the St. Francis Annual Fund is providing support for existing and new program development and contributing toward student scholarships.
Reasons to give:
• A high percentage of our students juggle schoolwork, family responsibilities and/or outside work to attend classes. Some students are forced to cut credit hours or quit school to meet a gap in their funding . . . your gift can smooth over that gap and help make a student’s educational goals possible.
• By giving, you’ll help support existing and new program development, which create highly-trained graduates who provide the important services our community needs.
• With the help of the Annual Fund, our undergraduate and graduate offerings are increasing. New programs include an undergraduate track in Biochemical Analysis and Instrumentation and a Master’s of Science in Nutritional Sciences.
• Three out of four of our students need financial assistance of some kind (75%). By supporting student scholarships, you will have an impact on our students who need help to become the servant leaders of the future.
