Transformed by a Eucharistic lifestyle, the Sisters of Christian Charity are impelled to give and receive Christ's love, joy, peace and healing for the life of the world.
The Sisters of Christian Charity are currently building a new, more efficient Motherhouse on the Mendham property, which will function as a center for the province’s administration, formation, liturgical and community life. Holy Family Convent in Danville, PA, the current retirement and assisted living facility for our Sisters, will be closing. These Sisters will move to Mendham, creating the opportunity for all the Sisters to remain together in “one heart and one soul.” (Mother Pauline) In addition to the construction costs and ongoing operating needs of the new building, including nursing and medical care for the elderly and infirm Sisters, financial support is also essential for the Sisters in active ministry. They represent the very heart of a Sister’s vocation – “to make visible the love of Christ in the world.”
