St. Augustine Catholic Church (New Orleans)

We, the parishioners of St. Augustine Church in New Orleans, are bonded together as one family through faith in Jesus Christ, through hope in His name, and through the same love He has for us. Our sole purpose in being part of this faith community is to do what Jesus did: To carry the good news from the bosom of the most Holy Trinity to every sister and brother here and throughout the world, so that everyone who believes in Jesus may not perish but may have eternal life (John 3:16). To this end, we pledge ourselves to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, and through Him to accept each other with all our weaknesses, limitations and differences. Through our mutual acceptance, we will reach out as Jesus did and in His name share the blessings of life with all, comfort the burdened, and heal the afflicted.
St. Augustine Church is 176 years old and is in need of roof repairs and air conditioner repairs.
