St. Louis Cathedral (New Orleans)
of Challenge Funds Remaining
The Cathedral-Basilica of St. Louis King of France is a special symbol of the Roman Catholic Church in the city of New Orleans and Mother Church of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. It is our Mission to adhere to and convey the teachings of Christ as promulgated in the documents of the Roman Catholic Church and in the writings of the popes; to impact the compassion, care and concern of Jesus, welcoming others into our community of faith and, likewise, reaching out with the love of God-given gifts and talents within our parish family; to offer exemplary and prayerful worship experiences of Word and Sacrament; to provide a sacred venue and place of prayer for promoting the bond among archdiocesan parishes; and to promote the praise of our God by fostering the various artistic endeavors of our Catholic and Christian tradition and by preserving the historic integrity and singular beauty of the Cathedral building.
