St. Peter the Apostle Parish, established in 1907, has evolved from a background enriched in African American Heritage. The Josephite Fathers and Brothers, The Sisters of the Holy Spirit and our Founding parishioners have always had one objective in mind, that is, to serve God and his people. This service provides for the spiritual, educational and social needs of the African American Catholic Family. Under the unselfish and competent guidance of its leaders, an unbroken chain of service has been maintained. St. Peter the Apostle Parish continues to be a welcoming family and neighbors of all and creeds in a spirit of corroboration, yielding completely to God’s love.
Any financial support given in this project will be used to help fund the cost of our new Church Building. St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Pascagoula, MS was established in 1907 under the leadership of The Josephite Fathers and Brothers. We have a very rich history with six (6) vocations from our parish. Our Church was destroyed in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina. We are currently using our Parish Life Center for Mass and other Services. Our doors are always open and you are most welcome to join us at any of our Masses and Services. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
